 The Tremblay reef site consists
of bridge rubble from the Peace River North bound I-75 Bridge
that was replaced in 2003. The bulk of this reef is made up of
85 foot long I-beam girders that weigh about 82 tons apiece,
randomly dumped in a criss-cross pattern which achieved 19
feet of reveal. There is also plenty of piling, platforms, and
decking slabs, to make for a wonderful fish haven. This reef
site is massive in size and holds many species of fish both
large and small. This site is generally dove as a drift dive,
due to the difficulty of navigation. You can wonder around the
site for the whole dive and the boat will pick you up where
ever you surface. |
